• Job Summary:

• We are seeking a friendly, enthusiastic, and customer-oriented barista to join our team. The barista will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages, including coffee and tea, and providing excellent customer service to ensure a pleasant experience for all customers.

• Greet customers warmly and provide a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Answer customer inquiries and provide information about menu items, specials, and store policies. 2.

• Beverage Preparation:

• Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages, such as coffee, espresso drinks, blended coffees, and teas.
• Follow recipes and preparation techniques to ensure consistency and quality.
• Operate and maintain coffee-making equipment, such as espresso machines and grinders. 3.

• Food Handling:

• Prepare and serve light food items, such as pastries, sandwiches, and salads.
• Ensure food items are stored and handled safely and hygienically. 4.

• Cleanliness and Maintenance:

• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the counter, machines, and seating areas.
• Perform regular cleaning and maintenance tasks for equipment and facilities.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations. 5.

• Cash Handling:

• Process payments accurately using the POS system.
• Handle cash, credit card transactions, and provide correct change. 6.

• Inventory and Stock Management:

• Monitor and restock inventory as needed, including coffee beans, syrups, milk, and other supplies.
• Assist in receiving and checking deliveries. 7.

• Team Collaboration:

• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist in training new employees when necessary.

• Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a barista or in a similar role is preferred.
• Basic math skills and familiarity with POS systems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and equipment is a plus.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
• Manual dexterity to operate coffee machines and other equipment.
