Job Description
Overview Blacksmith Cafe is a looking to hire an experienced barista to join our team. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, specialty drinks, and other menu items Assist with food prep Provide exceptional customer service and create a welcoming environment Operate POS system and handle cash/card transactions accurately Provide information to customers about hand crafted products and how to order Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including equipment and seating areas Restock supplies and assist with opening/closing duties Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines Qualifications Previous barista or food service experience required Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented Flexible availability, early morning shifts and weekends required Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods throughout shifts
