Barista

Overview The Stanley Chocolate Factory in Estes Park, CO is seeking a motivated and experienced Barista to join our vibrant café team. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent customer service abilities, and a passion for the food and beverage industry. As a key team member, you will support daily functions, mentor staff, and uphold food safety standards in a fast-paced environment. Duties Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages, food items, and snacks in accordance with company standards Manage cash handling, POS transactions using Spot On POS systems, and perform cashiering duties accurately Oversee food safety protocols and ensure cleanliness and sanitation of work areas Assist with inventory management, stock replenishment, and ordering supplies as needed Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and creating a welcoming atmosphere Support team members during busy periods to maintain productivity and morale Uphold café policies related to food handling, safety regulations, and retail operations Skills Proven experience as a barista with strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques Previous food service or café experience preferred; familiarity with the food industry is a plus Proficiency in POS systems such as Spot On; cash handling skills essential Strong customer service orientation with the ability to engage positively with customers Basic math skills for sales calculations, retail math, and cash register operations Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards This role offers an exciting opportunity for those passionate about coffee culture and customer service leadership.
