Job Overview This is a tipped position. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our dynamic team in creating exceptional coffee experiences for our customers. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in customer service and food preparation, along with knowledge of coffee and more specifically espresso. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, maintaining a clean and inviting café environment, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages and other beverages to customers with precision and care. Operate the Toast POS systems efficiently for order processing and cash handling. Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Maintain cleanliness and organization, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas. Adhere to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures during all aspects of food preparation. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours while maintaining quality standards. Assist with inventory management, including restocking supplies as needed. Serving tables. Experience Previous barista experience is preferred. Familiarity with Toast POS systems is a plus. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
