In this role, you will lead daily café operations, ensuring exceptional customer service and smooth beverage service. As a key team member, you will oversee shift activities, support baristas, and maintain high standards of food safety and cleanliness. Your leadership will inspire team collaboration while delivering a memorable experience for every guest. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your leadership skills within a vibrant food industry environment. Responsibilities Supervise and support daily café operations during your shift, ensuring efficient workflow and excellent customer service. Lead by example in preparing high-quality non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, adhering to company recipes and standards. Process retail sales transactions accurately using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems, including cash handling and processing cash transactions. Oversee food handling and preparation to meet food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards throughout the café. Assist with training new team members on beverage preparation, POS operation, food safety procedures, and customer service expectations. Manage time effectively to ensure timely order fulfillment, beverage serving, and cleaning routines are completed during your shift. Maintain a welcoming environment by providing outstanding customer service, resolving guest concerns promptly, and fostering a positive team atmosphere. Qualifications Previous barista experience with a strong understanding of coffee preparation, beverage service, and drink presentation. Proven leadership skills with experience supervising or leading a team in a food service or retail setting. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for sales processing and cash handling. Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and cleaning protocols in a café or food industry environment. Excellent math skills for retail math calculations, cash handling, and transaction processing. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and resolve issues professionally. Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
