Duties Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, chai, and specialty drinks, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Operate the Clover POS system to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently. Handle cash register operations, process cash and card payments, and give correct change while maintaining proper cash handling procedures. Maintain cleanliness of the café area by cleaning equipment, counters, tables, and food prep zones in accordance with food safety standards. Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders promptly, and addressing any questions or special requests with enthusiasm. Assist with food handling and preparation tasks to support overall café operations, ensuring food safety and hygiene protocols are followed. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality or safety. Qualifications Previous barista experience or food service experience is highly preferred; familiarity with beverage preparation is a plus. Comfort with technology in operating POS System is advantageous. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests. Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing retail math tasks. Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, lift moderate weights, and perform cleaning duties as needed.
