The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service, ensuring that each beverage is crafted to perfection. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of tea and coffee drinks, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and providing outstanding service to our café patrons. Your role will be essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits. Duties Prepare and serve high-quality tea and coffee base beverages according to established recipes and standards. Operate the Toast POS systems efficiently for order processing and cash handling. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the guest and service areas, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of tea, syrups, and supplies. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment while enhancing the overall customer experience. Utilize time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during busy periods while maintaining quality service. Experience Previous boba or barista experience or strong knowledge of drinks preparation is preferred. Familiarity with Toast or Square POS systems is advantageous. Proven customer service skills in a retail or food service environment. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and sales transactions. Experience in food preparation and understanding of food safety practices is essential. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing time effectively.
