Barista - Part time Subjective Coffee Westminster, CO Job Details Part-time From $16 an hour 2 hours ago Benefits Paid time off Qualifications Customer communication Full Job Description Job Summary Welcome to Subjective Coffee. Objectively good coffee great atmosphere and a solid team. We are looking for a part time barista, ideally with knowledge of specialty coffee. We have a medium sized menu that is really coffee forward, pour overs, higher end plating and very very accessible pricing. The shifts are 5 hours, with a normal amount of service. We are expanding hours and accom for getting busier :) Duties Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Handle retail sales transactions accurately using POS systems. Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including counters, equipment, and seating areas, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines. Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions about beverages and food offerings, and provide excellent customer service to enhance their experience. Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth daily operations. Follow food handling procedures during beverage preparation and food service to ensure safety standards are maintained. Support team members during busy periods by managing multiple tasks such as serving drinks, processing transactions, and cleaning workstations. Experience Previous experience working as a specialty barista is preferred but not required; Food service experience is required. We welcome enthusiastic learners eager to develop their skills. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with diverse customers. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction processing. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques. Experience in beverage preparation or café environments is highly desirable. Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail.
