Join our team as we strive to provide a service to our neighborhood by being their local hang out for coffee and breakfast. Duties Prepare a variety of coffee and non-coffee beverages with precision and care, ensuring quality and consistency in every cup Engage with customers warmly, taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and providing personalized recommendations Operating our Toast POS system Handle cash register operations including processing cash transactions, giving correct change, and balancing cash drawers at shift end Maintain cleanliness of cafe equipment, counters, tables, and ensuring food safety standards are met with our daily cleaning schedule Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining high service standards Experience Previous barista experience or food service experience is highly preferred Familiarity with Toast POS Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and processing transactions accurately Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail If you would like to join our team please email us at: Or apply through our website: https://theupstatelounge.com/
