Duties Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including specialty coffees, teas, and other drink options with precision and care Operate POS systems Engage with customers warmly, taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and providing personalized recommendations Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and dining areas in accordance with food safety standards Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments, and give correct change using cash handling best practices Assist with food handling and preparation tasks to ensure quality standards are met for all offerings Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining high service standards Experience Prior experience as a barista or in food service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for coffee culture is essential Familiarity with beverage service techniques and non-alcoholic drink preparation is highly desirable Proven ability to handle retail sales transactions using POS system. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build rapport with diverse guests Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing sales records Knowledge of food safety protocols, food handling procedures, and proper cleaning practices in a café environment Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours

Pay:

$17.00 - $18.00 per hour
