Duties Greet customers warmly and provide attentive service to ensure a positive experience Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages, drinks, and light food items following food safety standards Handle cash transactions, process payments efficiently, and give correct change using cash handling best practices Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café or retail space, including food prep areas and seating areas Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve multiple customers promptly without sacrificing quality Follow food handling procedures and safety guidelines to ensure compliance with health regulations Upsell menu items or products to increase sales and enhance customer satisfaction Skills Proven experience as a barista with strong coffee preparation skills and knowledge of espresso machines Previous serving or cashiering experience in a food industry or retail environment Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient transaction processing Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks during peak hours seamlessly Basic math skills for cash handling, giving correct change, and managing sales totals accurately Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Join us in creating a lively atmosphere where great service meets quality products!
