Duties Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS accurately to process sales and handle cash transactions with precision. Engage with customers in a friendly manner, providing excellent customer service and addressing inquiries or special requests promptly. Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling stations, beverage equipment, and dining spaces, adhering to food safety standards. Manage food preparation tasks related to beverage service and light food offerings, ensuring proper food handling procedures are followed. Assist with retail sales transactions, restocking supplies, and organizing merchandise displays to enhance the customer experience. Support team members during busy periods by managing time effectively and multitasking efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience Previous barista experience or food service background is preferred but not required; we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with diverse guests. Basic math skills for cash handling, processing payments, and giving accurate change. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures in a café or food industry setting. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in beverage preparation and cleanliness standards.
