Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and customer service, with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for our patrons. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages, maintaining cleanliness in the café, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other menu items according to established recipes and standards. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment, counters, and seating areas. Handle cash transactions efficiently and accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Monitor inventory levels of food and beverage supplies, restocking as necessary to ensure availability. Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards in all aspects of food preparation and service. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment while ensuring timely service during peak hours. Skills Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change. Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling regulations. Previous experience in food service or the food industry is preferred but not required. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods. Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated. Sales skills to promote menu items effectively and enhance customer satisfaction.
