In this role, you'll deliver exceptional service by preparing and serving a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, handling retail sales transactions, and maintaining a clean, welcoming space. Paid training is provided to help you succeed from day one! Duties Prepare and serve high-quality coffee drinks and food from our in-house kitchen Operate POS systems like Toast to process sales accurately and efficiently. Handle retail sales transactions including cash handling, processing cash transactions, and giving correct change. Maintain cleanliness of the café area by cleaning tables, counters, equipment, and food prep surfaces in accordance with food safety standards. Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions about products, and provide friendly service to enhance their experience. Follow proper food handling procedures and food safety guidelines during food preparation and beverage service. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service while maintaining quality standards. Experience Previous experience in food service or café environments is highly preferred. Experience in beverage preparation or barista work demonstrates strong coffee skills. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests. Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing are required. Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
