In this role, you will be the face of our café, providing exceptional service while preparing and serving high-quality coffee and food items. Prior experience in coffee service or food handling is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidates who demonstrate strong customer service skills and a passion for the food industry. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items with attention to quality and presentation Operate POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling Greet customers warmly, take orders efficiently, and provide excellent customer service Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and giving change Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in accordance with health regulations Assist with food preparation and serving as needed, ensuring timely delivery of orders Manage multiple tasks effectively through strong time management skills during busy periods Restock supplies and ensure the café area remains organized and inviting Uphold food safety standards related to food handling, serving, and sanitation Requirements Previous experience as a barista or in food service is preferred; familiarity with coffee preparation is a plus Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and sales transactions Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Reliable team player with a positive attitude committed to providing outstanding service This role offers an engaging work environment where your enthusiasm for coffee and customer service can shine.
