Part-Time Barista — Alive Coffee Co.
Overview Alive Coffee Co. is coming to Estero! We're looking for a friendly, energetic, and dependable Part-Time Barista to join our team and help us create a coffee shop that feels like part of the community. At Alive Coffee Co., we believe a great café is about more than great coffee. We're bringing fresh-roasted coffee, house-made bakery items, fresh food, and genuine hospitality together in a welcoming neighborhood café. As a Barista, you'll be one of the faces of Alive Coffee. You'll prepare high-quality coffee and beverages, take care of our guests, keep the café clean and organized, and work alongside a team that takes pride in what we do. You don't need years of barista experience to join our team. We can teach you how to make great coffee. What we can't teach is a great attitude, reliability, a willingness to work hard, and a genuine desire to make people feel welcome. If you enjoy people, love coffee, and want to be part of building something from the ground up, we'd love to meet you. What You'll Do Prepare espresso drinks, brewed coffee, iced coffee, lattes, teas, smoothies, and other specialty beverages according to Alive Coffee Co. standards Provide friendly, genuine, and attentive service to every guest Welcome customers, take orders, answer questions, and help guests choose from our menu Learn our coffee, food, and beverage offerings so you can confidently make recommendations Operate our Toast POS system accurately and efficiently Handle cash and credit card transactions responsibly Help prepare and serve our house-made bakery and café food items Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming café throughout your shift Keep the coffee bar, kitchen, dining area, and equipment clean and properly stocked Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department requirements Work as a team during busy morning and lunch periods Help with opening and closing duties as needed Jump in wherever you're needed—making drinks, stocking supplies, cleaning tables, helping guests, or supporting your teammates Treat every customer and coworker with respect and professionalism What We're Looking For We're looking for people who are: Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable talking with customers Dependable and punctual Positive and energetic, even during a busy shift Willing to learn and take direction Comfortable working as part of a team Able to stay organized and focused in a fast-paced environment Proud of their work and attentive to details Comfortable standing and working on their feet for extended periods Able to lift and carry moderate amounts of supplies Interested in coffee, food, hospitality, or the restaurant industry Previous restaurant, café, or barista experience is a plus—but it is not required.
