is coming to Estero! We're looking for an experienced, energetic Lead Barista to help us open our new café and build something special in the Estero community. At Alive Coffee Co., we believe coffee should be more than something you grab on the way to work. We're bringing fresh-roasted coffee, house-made bakery items, fresh food, and genuine hospitality together in a welcoming neighborhood café. As our Lead Barista, you'll be an important part of creating that experience every day. You'll lead by example, help develop our barista team, maintain high standards for coffee and food, and make sure every guest feels welcomed and appreciated. This is a hands-on leadership position . We're looking for someone who loves great coffee, enjoys working with people, takes pride in doing things the right way, and can stay calm and positive when the café gets busy. What You'll Do Lead the barista team during daily shifts and set the standard for quality, hospitality, cleanliness, and professionalism Prepare consistently excellent espresso drinks, brewed coffee, pour-overs, iced coffee, lattes, smoothies, teas, and other specialty beverages Learn and maintain Alive Coffee Co.'s recipes, drink standards, coffee preparation techniques, and presentation Help open and close the café, ensuring the shop is clean, stocked, organized, and ready for the next shift Create a warm, welcoming experience for every guest and build relationships with our local customers Operate our Toast POS system , process transactions accurately, and handle cash responsibly Help train new employees on coffee preparation, food service, hospitality, POS procedures, cleanliness, and café standards Monitor product levels and communicate inventory needs to management Assist with food preparation and service, including our house-made bakery and café offerings Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department requirements Keep the bar, kitchen, dining area, and equipment clean and organized throughout the shift Handle customer questions and concerns professionally and know when to involve management Help keep the team moving efficiently during busy breakfast and lunch periods Support management with daily operations and take ownership of the café when a manager is not present Help create a positive team culture where people enjoy coming to work

What We're Looking For:
