Job Description
Coffee Corral is a locally owned coffee shop where quality coffee, handcrafted food and genuine hospitality come together. We are looking for a dependable, energetic team member who enjoys working with people and can confidently manage a variety of responsibilities in a fast-paced café environment. This is a hands-on position that combines barista work, customer service, food preparation, baking and general café operations. The right candidate will take pride in creating a welcoming experience for every guest while maintaining our standards for quality, consistency and cleanliness. Position Responsibilities
- Handcraft specialty espresso drinks, coffees, premium teas and protein smoothies
- Serve Amish ice cream and a variety of house-made desserts
- Prepare breakfast sandwiches, waffles and other café menu items
- Assist with baking and preparing pastries and desserts
- Greet customers warmly and provide attentive, genuine hospitality
- Educate customers about our menu and offer helpful recommendations
- Accurately enter orders using our POS system
- Handle cash, make change and complete transactions accurately
- Work efficiently while managing multiple orders and responsibilities
- Maintain a clean, organized and well-stocked work area
- Follow recipes, portion standards, food-safety procedures and opening or closing checklists
- Communicate clearly with coworkers and help the team wherever needed What We're Looking For...
- Strong customer-service and hospitality skills
- Comfortable engaging with customers and explaining menu options
- Proficient with basic math, cash handling and making change
- Able to learn recipes and prepare drinks and food consistently
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
- Strong attention to detail, cleanliness and organization
- Dependable, punctual and ready to work when scheduled
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Willingness to take direction, receive feedback and continue learning
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and remain on your feet throughout the shift
- Previous coffee shop, restaurant, food-service, baking or customer-service experience is strongly preferred
- Age requirement: 18 years or older due to beer & wine sales Schedule This is currently a part-time position.
