Wyatt's Coffee, Gainesville, FL Join our team and help us create remarkable experiences, care for our community, and serve great coffee. At Wyatt's Coffee, great coffee and thoughtful hospitality go hand in hand. We care about the details, from dialing in an espresso to making someone feel welcome when they walk through the door. We're looking for a friendly, dependable teammate who enjoys serving others, takes pride in their work, and wants to keep learning about coffee. You'll work with a small, dedicated team to prepare drinks, welcome guests, and keep the café running smoothly. Food is also part of the Wyatt's experience, so you'll help prepare and serve our menu of bagels, sandwiches, breakfast burritos, and yogurt bowls. Across every part of the role, the goal is the same: make something well and serve it with care. You'll be responsible for: Dialing in espresso and preparing espresso drinks, pour overs, teas, and non-coffee beverages with consistency and care Providing warm, attentive service, from taking accurate orders to helping guests find something they'll enjoy Learning about our coffees and sharing the stories, brewing methods, and menu details behind what we serve Assembling bagels, sandwiches, and yogurt bowls, and heating and finishing prepared food items according to our recipes and portion guides Keeping the food station stocked and organized, following food safety and allergen procedures, and communicating prep needs Coordinating food and drink orders with attention to timing, accuracy, and presentation Working collaboratively across the coffee bar, register, and food station Keeping the café and equipment clean, stocked, and ready for service, including opening and closing duties What we're looking for: A passion for serving others and providing caring hospitality A love of coffee and a desire to learn more about the craft A dependable teammate who communicates clearly and works well with others Willingness to learn, be coached, and receive feedback Attention to detail and the ability to stay organized and calm during busy shifts Comfort helping with food preparation as part of everyday café service Coffee or food service experience is a plus, but not required Availability on both Saturdays and Sundays, our busiest daysDetails:
Part-time position, approximately 25 hours per week Opening shifts: 7:00 AM-12:30 PM Closing shifts: 12:30 PM-5:30 PM Saturday and Sunday availability required Hourly pay plus pooled tips Complimentary monthly retail coffee, employee discounts, and ongoing training You'll be part of a growing café and coffee roasting program alongside Resident Coffee, with opportunities to learn and develop your skills. Starting pay: $13.00/hour plus tips; tips currently average $7-8/hour At the 90-day review, after completing training: $13.50/hour plus tips At the 6-month review: $14.00/hour plus tipsBenefits
