In this energetic role, you will craft high-quality beverages, manage retail sales transactions, and ensure a welcoming environment. Whether you're preparing non-alcoholic beverages, handling cash, or maintaining food safety standards, your contribution is vital to our success. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your food industry skills while working in a dynamic, fast-paced setting. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic beverages with precision, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Operate POS systems to process sales accurately and efficiently. Handle retail sales transactions by processing cash, credit card payments, and managing cash handling duties with integrity. Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and customer areas in accordance with food safety and food handling standards. Deliver excellent customer service by engaging with guests warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing inquiries promptly. Manage beverage service timings to ensure quick turnaround during busy periods while maintaining quality standards. Follow food safety protocols during food preparation and ensure proper food handling practices are adhered to at all times. Qualifications Previous barista experience or food service experience is highly preferred. Familiarity with POS systems is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Basic math skills for processing cash transactions and managing register operations. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a lively environment.
