Position Overview As a Barista, you will prepare and serve coffee, tea, and beverages with care, accuracy, and genuine hospitality. Schedule Monday through Friday schedule. Responsibilities Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and other café beverages to Southern Grounds quality standards. Greet guests warmly, take orders accurately, and provide friendly, efficient service. Operate the pointofsale system and handle cash and card transactions responsibly. Maintain a clean, organized, and wellstocked café workspace. Support prep tasks such as brewing coffee and tea, stocking items, and setting up service areas. Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace cleanliness standards. Work collaboratively with team members during busy service periods. Qualifications Previous barista, café, restaurant, retail, or customer service experience preferred. Strong communication skills and a guestfirst attitude. Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fastpaced setting. Basic math skills for order taking and payment processing. Dependable, punctual, and able to work Monday through Friday.
