If this describes you Ra Coffee Company NAS JAX is the place for you. We are looking for additional barista/cashier/BOH to join our strong team as we are growing. Ra Coffee Company is a family-owned business that recently expanding our operations from four shops in the Charleston South Carolina area, to Jacksonville Florida opening two shops on Naval Air Station. We are hiring part time with ability for full time if desired. S hifts earliest start time is 5am and shops closing at 3:30pm . Our hours of operation are 6:30am to 3:00pm Monday thru Friday. We are closed weekends and major holidays. You must be 18 years old or older for this job, because we are located inside the base. Wages are a combination of base wage and tip share.

Responsibilities- but not limited to:

Prepare and serve specialty coffee or other beverages to customers. Serve food such as baked goods and sandwiches (sometimes preparing and serving sandwiches) Provide outstanding customer service. Maintain a clean and tidy work area. Follow health and safety guidelines. Interact with customers regularly and professionally. Clean / sanitize service and dining areas. Check temperatures of freezers and refrigerators, to ensure properly functioning. Describe menu items to customers and suggest products. Receive and stock supplies. Assist with BOH duties & possible options to bake. Provide customers with product details. Receive and process customer payments.

Qualifications:

No experience as a barista is necessary. Outgoing and great customer service Ability to get your food handlers certificate within 30 days (we cover the fee) Math skills - basic math Ability to count / balance and handle money in the register. High integrity with a great attendance record Strong attention to detail Ability to listen and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers and leadership. Ability to multitask and able to thrive in busy work environment. Ability to work alone at some points in your shift. Ability to follow policies and procedures. pass a background check for base access for locations contracted with the military. We are looking forward to hearing from you.
