Come join our growing, family-owned restaurant group for an exciting new chapter: the return of Balan's to Miami Beach. Located in a newly renovated space on Lincoln Road, Balans on the Beach is looking for friendly, energetic and reliable baristas who are passionate about coffee, hospitality and creating a memorable guest experience. In addition to preparing coffee and espresso beverages, you will be trained to make a selection of cocktails, making this a great opportunity to expand your skills. What You'll Need At least three years of barista and relevant hospitality experience. Full capability of latte art A friendly, positive and professional attitude Ability to remain on your feet for shifts of eight hours or more Open availability, including weekends and holidays Ability to work efficiently as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and a commitment to excellent service Willingness to learn cocktail preparation and responsible alcohol service Responsibilities Provide warm, attentive service and an excellent guest experience Prepare coffee, espresso drinks and other beverages consistently and efficiently Learn to prepare a selection of cocktails following Balans recipes and standards Memorize recipes, menu offerings and steps of service Take orders and build genuine relationships with guests Accurately handle cash and card transactions Maintain a clean, organized and fully stocked barista station and bar Contribute ideas for regular and seasonal beverage menus Complete other duties as requested by management Benefits A welcoming and caring family-business environment Flexible scheduling with day, evening and weekend shifts available Training provided, including cocktail preparation Uniform provided, depending on role Career development and progression opportunities
