Responsibilities Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Greet customers warmly, take their orders accurately, and serve food and beverages promptly. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions efficiently. Handle cash, credit card, and mobile payments with accuracy while maintaining proper cash handling procedures. Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food preparation zones, beverage stations, and customer seating areas. Follow food safety protocols during food handling and beverage preparation to ensure compliance with health regulations. Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and creating a positive atmosphere for guests. Requirements Previous experience in food service or café environments is preferred; barista experience is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for sales processing. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers. Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and processing transactions accurately. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods. Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift supplies, and perform cleaning duties as needed.
