Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them with their selections, providing excellent customer service throughout their visit Prepare ice cream cones, sundaes, shakes, and other frozen treats following established recipes and safety standards Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing sales transactions accurately and efficiently Manage food handling responsibilities including scooping, topping, and maintaining food safety standards in the workspace Maintain a clean and organized work environment by sanitizing equipment, counters, and workstations regularly Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities Handle cash register operations, process cash and card transactions, and balance cash drawers at shift end Requirements Previous experience in food service or quick-service restaurants is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key! Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently while maintaining quality service Basic math skills for cash handling, processing transactions, and giving accurate change Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely including ice cream machines, blenders, and other small appliances Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude that makes every guest feel valued Retail sales experience or grocery store background is advantageous but not mandatory Join us to be part of an energetic team dedicated to creating joyful moments for our guests!
