Role:

The Barista is responsible for preparing high-quality coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and other beverages in a fast-paced environment. This individual is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization at the station and adhering to beverage recipes and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and espresso-based drinks, teas, and other beverages in accordance with company recipes and presentation standards. Ensure all beverages are consistently prepared to meet quality and appearance standards. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the barista station, equipment, and service areas throughout the shift. Restock ingredients, cups, lids, condiments, and supplies as needed. Maintain inventory levels by reporting low stock or product needs to management. Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines including allergen protocols. Operate POS system accurately for guest transactions, if applicable. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service and guest satisfaction. Participate in ongoing training and development related to coffee knowledge and service skills.

Qualifications:

Prior experience as a barista or in a guest-facing hospitality role preferred. Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and beverage service. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. Must be organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask. Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as required. Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds. Must be eligible to work in the United States.
