Responsibilities Lead by example in preparing high-quality non-alcoholic beverages, coffee drinks, and food items with precision and care. Oversee daily café operations, ensuring efficient retail sales transactions using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS. Supervise and motivate team members to deliver outstanding customer service, supporting their development and fostering teamwork. Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards across all areas, including food handling, beverage service, and equipment sanitation. Process cash transactions accurately, handle cash handling duties, and reconcile register totals at shift end. Manage inventory levels of coffee beans, ingredients, and supplies; coordinate with suppliers as needed. Train staff on proper food preparation techniques, beverage service protocols, POS usage, and health & safety procedures. Ensure compliance with food industry regulations and company policies related to food safety, food handling, and sanitation. Experience Proven experience as a barista with strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and beverage service. Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a café or retail environment is highly preferred. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is essential for processing transactions efficiently. Solid understanding of retail sales transactions, cash handling procedures, and basic math skills for register reconciliation. Experience in food service or food industry roles demonstrating attention to detail in food safety and hygiene practices. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse clientele. Strong time management skills to handle busy periods effectively while maintaining quality standards.
