This position starts at $14 per hour before tips.

Duties:

• Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks
• Take customer orders and provide exceptional customer service
• Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee shop area
• Follow health and safety guidelines for food handling and preparation
• Assist with food preparation, such as making sandwiches or pastries
• Stock and replenish inventory as needed
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of coffee and espresso beverages
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and positive attitude
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations
• Experience with operating a cash register or point-of-sale system
• Knowledge of food service industry standards and practices
• Ability to handle food safely and follow proper hygiene protocols

Note:

Prior experience as a barista is preferred but not required. Training will be provided for candidates who demonstrate the right attitude and willingness to learn.
