The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, maintaining a clean and inviting environment, and ensuring that every customer has a delightful experience. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and espresso beverages with precision and care. Engage with customers to take orders, provide recommendations, and ensure satisfaction. Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining proper cash handling procedures. Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including the preparation stations, dining area, and restrooms. Assist in food preparation as needed, ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and enhance overall customer experience. Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies; assist in restocking as necessary. Stay informed about menu items and promotions to effectively communicate with customers. Qualifications Previous experience in the food industry or café setting is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. Familiarity with cash registers, POS systems, and cash handling practices. Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and food handling best practices is preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor are essential for this role. Must be able to work flexible hours including mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
