Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and care. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders efficiently and accurately. Handle cash, credit card transactions, and cash handling procedures with integrity and accuracy. Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions, and ensuring satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards by following proper food handling and preparation protocols. Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers quickly while maintaining quality. Assist with food preparation tasks, including basic food handling and serving snacks or light meals as needed. Taking phone orders Qualifications Previous barista experience with knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and beverage customization. Experience using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively. Good math skills for cash handling, retail math, and basic calculations related to sales transactions. Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced café or food service environment. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Basic understanding of retail math, cashiering, and food industry practices is preferred. Part Time or full time may be discussed but Saturday are mandatory. Meal, tips and time off are provided with this position. No parking provided.
