Job Description

Tuckers Cove Town Center, located in Punta Gorda, FL, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Barista! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast‑paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you'll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.
Pay Rate:
$15.00 per hour, Part-time and Full-time positions available.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and espresso beverages. Deliver excellent customer service by engaging with customers in a friendly and professional manner. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional appearance at all times. Ensure composure and efficiency in a fast-paced environment. Uphold company standards for beverage and food preparation. Perform daily equipment checks and report maintenance needs. Regularly clean, restock, and organize the café space. Complete opening, closing, and side-work duties. Handle cash transactions accurately. Communicate promptly with management regarding operational needs or issues. Collaborate with team members to foster a positive and supportive work environment. Guide and train new hires to maintain service and quality standards. Comply with health, safety, and sanitation regulations. High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one year of experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of POS system. Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g. the associates may be required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers, the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English).
