Duties Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, smoothies, and specialty drinks, ensuring quality and consistency. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently. Provide friendly, attentive customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and offering product recommendations. Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling, beverage stations, and seating areas, adhering to food safety standards. Manage cash handling duties by processing cash transactions with accuracy and balancing registers at shift end. Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling snacks or light meals in accordance with food safety guidelines. Support team members during busy periods by managing time effectively and ensuring smooth beverage and food service. Qualifications Previous barista experience or food service experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential! Familiarity with POS systems like Clover POS or Micros POS is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests. Basic math skills for cash handling, processing transactions, and giving accurate change. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
