Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Lead Barista to join our vibrant café team! In this energetic role, you will lead by example in delivering exceptional beverage and food service experiences, ensuring every guest leaves satisfied and eager to return. As a key team member, you will oversee daily operations and uphold the highest standards of quality, cleanliness, and customer engagement. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your barista expertise while fostering a welcoming environment that celebrates coffee culture and community connection. Responsibilities Lead the preparation of high-quality non-alcoholic beverages, including specialty coffees, and teas, ensuring consistency and excellence in every drink served Supervise daily café operations, including managing retail sales transactions Oversee cleanliness and sanitation standards across the café area, including equipment maintenance and food safety compliance Process cash transactions accurately while managing cash handling procedures and balancing registers at shift end Deliver outstanding customer service by engaging with guests warmly, taking orders efficiently, and resolving any concerns promptly Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, beverages, food items, and supplies; assist in ordering as needed Requirements Customer service skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting Strong attention to detail Basic math skills for cash handling, processing transactions, and inventory management Ability to manage time effectively to prioritize tasks during busy periods Food industry experience with a focus on retail sales transactions and café operations is highly desirable Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a café or food service environment preferred Join us as a Lead Barista where your enthusiasm for coffee meets your leadership talents!
