Position Summary We are looking for responsible, energetic, and service oriented individuals to join our Winter Garden team as Team Members . The Team Member is a versatile operational position that supports different areas of the café and restaurant. Depending on training, skills, and the needs of the shift, Team Members may assist with customer service, cashiering, coffee and beverage preparation, food preparation and assembly, order delivery, restocking, cleaning, and other operational responsibilities. At CFS, we work as one team. Team Members are trained in different stations and are expected to support the operation wherever needed to provide fast, friendly, and consistent service. Key Responsibilities Provide friendly, fast, and professional customer service. Welcome guests, take orders, process payments, and answer questions about the menu. Prepare coffee, beverages, and menu items according to CFS recipes and standards. Prepare, assemble, and present food items according to established procedures, portions, and quality standards. Work in different stations based on training and operational needs. Maintain workstations clean, organized, stocked, and ready for service. Assist with product preparation, restocking, and organization of supplies and inventory. Follow food safety, sanitation, labeling, storage, and FIFO rotation procedures. Assist with opening, closing, and cleaning responsibilities. Promptly report product shortages, waste, equipment issues, or situations that may affect service. Work collaboratively with other Team Members, Shift Leads, Trainers, and Operations leadership. Participate in CFS training and development programs. Requirements Previous experience in restaurants, cafés, customer service, cashiering, barista, hospitality, or food service is preferred. Willingness to be trained and work in different areas of the operation. Availability to work rotating schedules, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Strong customer service, teamwork, and communication skills. Punctuality, reliability, responsibility, and attention to detail. Ability to follow recipes, operating procedures, and food safety and quality standards. Ability to stand and remain active for extended periods. Ability to lift, carry, or move up to 50 pounds when needed. Legal authorization to work in the United States. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in restaurants, cafés, or quick-service food operations. Experience in customer service, cashiering, coffee, beverage, or food preparation. Basic knowledge of specialty coffee. Experience using Toast, Square, or another Point-of-Sale (POS) system. Knowledge of portion control, mise en place, waste reduction, and FIFO inventory rotation. Current Food Handler Certification or willingness to obtain it within the applicable timeframe. ServSafe Certification. Ability to communicate in English and Spanish. Compensation Estimated total compensation for this position is $18.13-$19.59 per hour, including tips . Eligible Team Members receive hourly compensation plus tips in accordance with CFS policies and applicable legal requirements. Tip earnings may vary based on sales volume, shifts, hours worked, and applicable tip distribution practices. Therefore, estimated total compensation is not a guarantee of specific earnings.
