Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and care. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process transactions efficiently and accurately. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and seating areas. Provide friendly, attentive customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and offering product recommendations. Handle cashing out customers, managing cash handling procedures, and balancing registers at shift end. Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures to ensure quality and safety standards are met. Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling light snacks or baked goods when needed. Skills Proven experience as a Barista or in a similar food service role within cafés or retail environments. Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS. Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently while maintaining quality service. Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, sales transactions, and retail math calculations. Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly attitude that makes guests feel welcome. Knowledge of food safety standards, proper food handling, and serving procedures in the food industry. Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and assist customers confidently.
