Reset. Restore. Our menu will feature specialty coffee and espresso drinks, matcha, wellness beverages, smoothies, açaí bowls, pastries, and elevated grab-and-go items. We are preparing for our grand opening and are looking for an experienced Head Barista / Café Lead to help establish O'Lara's beverage program and lead our barista team. This is more than a standard barista position. We are looking for someone who understands coffee, takes presentation seriously, provides exceptional customer service, and can help create the systems and standards that will be used as O'Lara grows.

Responsibilities:

Help prepare the café and beverage station for opening Dial in espresso and maintain consistent espresso quality Prepare espresso drinks, coffee, matcha, cold foam, smoothies and specialty beverages Help finalize drink recipes, measurements and preparation standards Train and support new baristas Maintain consistency in taste, presentation and portioning Help establish opening and closing procedures Monitor coffee, milk, syrups, matcha and beverage inventory Maintain a clean, organized and health-code-compliant workspace Provide warm, polished and professional customer service Help manage morning operations and workflow during busy periods Troubleshoot basic espresso machine/grinder issues Work closely with ownership to maintain O'Lara's standards and customer experience

Ideal Candidate:

2+ years of barista experience preferred Previous lead, shift-lead or café-opening experience strongly preferred Strong espresso knowledge Comfortable dialing in espresso and adjusting grinders Experience preparing matcha and specialty beverages Latte art skills preferred Leadership and training experience Reliable, punctual and organized Strong attention to cleanliness and presentation Friendly, confident and professional with customers Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Schedule:

Morning availability required. Weekend availability required. Additional hours may be available as the business grows.

Pay:

$17.00 - $21.00 per hour
