Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including specialty coffees, teas, and smoothies, ensuring each drink meets quality standards. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS accurately to process retail sales transactions efficiently. Greet customers warmly, take their orders promptly, and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit. Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling stations, beverage prep zones, and dining spaces, adhering to food safety standards. Manage cash handling responsibilities by processing cash transactions accurately and balancing registers at shift end. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring proper food safety and handling procedures are followed. Support team members during busy periods by managing time effectively and multitasking between serving customers and maintaining the workspace. Skills Proven experience as a Barista or in a similar food service role with café experience preferred. Strong knowledge of beverage service techniques, including drink preparation and serving standards. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for sales processing. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests. Basic math skills for cash handling, processing transactions, and giving correct change. Ability to maintain cleanliness and food safety standards through proper cleaning and food handling practices. Effective time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
