Caffeine & Cookies Coffee Truck | Gaston Street Eats Co. About Us Caffeine & Cookies is a mobile coffee and dessert concept built around three things we love: Caffeine. Cookies. Community. We are looking for a dependable, energetic, and customer-focused Barista/Cashier to join our growing team. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants to be part of a company where teamwork and great customer service matter. Our coffee truck travels to corporate events, schools, community events, private celebrations, and other locations throughout the Metro Atlanta area. Responsibilities As a Barista/Cashier, you will: Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service Take customer orders and accurately operate the POS system Prepare espresso drinks, lattes, cold brews, frappes, and specialty beverages according to company recipes Serve and package cookies, desserts, and other menu items Learn the Caffeine & Cookies menu and confidently answer customer questions Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked work environment Restock cups, syrups, milk, coffee, ice, cookies, and other supplies Assist with opening and closing procedures Help with truck setup and breakdown for events Follow food-safety, sanitation, and health-department standards Work efficiently during high-volume events Communicate effectively and work as part of a team Represent Caffeine & Cookies and Gaston Street Eats Co. professionally at all events What We're Looking For Excellent customer-service skills Friendly and positive attitude Dependable and punctual Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail Ability to multitask while maintaining excellent customer service Willingness to learn our recipes and preparation standards Comfortable working in a food truck/mobile environment Ability to stand for extended periods and perform the lifting, reaching, bending, and movement normally required in food-service work Reliable transportation to our kitchen/truck location and scheduled events Availability for a flexible event-based schedule, including some early mornings, evenings, and weekends Previous barista, restaurant, food-service, retail, or cashier experience is preferred but not required. We provide paid training for the right candidate.
