About the Job COF& (Cofy) Colombian Specialty Coffee Shop is seeking a friendly, energetic, and guest-focused Barista to join our Kennesaw, GA team. As one of the first points of contact for our guests, you will play an important role in creating an exceptional experience by preparing handcrafted espresso beverages, providing knowledgeable recommendations, and delivering outstanding customer service. Our ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and is able to work independently with minimal supervision. They enjoy building genuine relationships with guests, take pride in delivering exceptional service, maintain a strong attention to detail, and share our passion for high-quality food, coffee, and hospitality.
Reports To:
Owner. This position reports directly to the owner on a daily basis. Responsibilities Prepare high-quality espresso beverages, coffees, teas, and other café drinks according to company standards. Deliver exceptional hospitality by greeting guests, answering questions, and making thoughtful food and drink recommendations. Develop a strong knowledge of our special coffee, pastries, gluten-free options and specialty retail products. Accurately process guest transactions using the point-of-sale system. Support daily sales goals through suggestive selling and exceptional guest service. Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked coffee station and café environment. Contact Inventory and track inventory accurtely Follow all opening, closing, and daily operational procedures. Assist with stocking, merchandising, and maintaining attractive product displays. Work collaboratively with teams to ensure an outstanding guest experience. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department standards. Qualifications 1 years of barista, coffee shop, bakery, café, or hospitality experience preferred. Previous experience preparing espresso beverages is strongly preferred. Outstanding guest service and communication skills. Ability to multitask and remain organized in a high-volume environment. Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed. Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently and team player. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
