Responsibilities Open the store each morning, ensuring all equipment is operational and the environment is clean and welcoming Prepare non-alcoholic beverages including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks with precision and care Process retail sales transactions accurately using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems Handle cash register operations, including processing cash transactions and giving correct change Maintain cleanliness of the store, including food handling areas, beverage stations, and customer seating areas Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders efficiently, and serving drinks promptly Follow food safety standards during food preparation and beverage service to ensure quality and compliance Restock supplies as needed to keep the store fully equipped for daily operations Assist in training new team members on POS systems, food handling procedures, and customer service expectations Qualifications Previous experience in food service or café environments is preferred; barista experience is a plus Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Strong skills in retail sales transactions, cash handling, and math calculations Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and clear communication abilities Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Good time management skills to ensure timely opening procedures and smooth daily operations Basic understanding of beverage preparation, drink service, and food presentation techniques Join us as a Dunkin Store Opener where your energy fuels our success!
