Overview Join our dynamic team as a Dunkin' Barista, where you'll be the friendly face serving delicious coffee and food in a fast-paced café environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your customer service skills, learn food and beverage preparation, and work within a vibrant retail setting. Prior experience in coffee or food service is a plus, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn. As a key member of our team, you'll ensure every guest has a positive experience by providing excellent service and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items efficiently and accurately. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and cash handling. Manage customer transactions with accuracy, including cash handling and POS operations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, adhering to food safety standards. Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions, and provide exceptional customer service. Restock supplies as needed and ensure all food preparation areas meet health regulations. Uphold quality standards in food handling, serving, and presentation. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service delivery. Support team members in daily operations to create a welcoming environment for guests. Qualifications Previous barista or café experience preferred; knowledge of coffee preparation is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and transaction accuracy. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, afternoons, or evenings as needed.
