Duties Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, smoothies, and specialty drinks with precision and flair Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales efficiently and accurately Handle retail sales transactions, cash handling, and processing cash register operations with integrity Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling stations, beverage prep zones, and dining spaces to ensure food safety standards are met Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions about products, and provide outstanding customer service to foster loyalty Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and minimal wait times Follow food safety protocols during food preparation and beverage service to uphold health standards Skills Proven experience as a Barista or in food service roles with café experience preferred Strong knowledge of beverage service techniques and non-alcoholic drink preparation Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for smooth transactions Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests Basic math skills for cash handling, change calculation, and sales reconciliation Ability to perform cleaning duties diligently to maintain a hygienic environment Time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume periods Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures Previous retail sales experience is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential This role is paid and offers an energetic environment where your passion for coffee and customer care can shine.
