As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our customers. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station, dining area, and equipment. Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately while providing excellent customer service. Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring adherence to food handling safety standards. Engage with customers to take orders, answer questions about menu items, and provide recommendations. Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, syrups, pastries, and other supplies; communicate needs to management. Uphold the highest standards of quality in both product presentation and customer interaction. Qualifications Previous experience in the food industry or retail environment is preferred but not required. Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing are essential. Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques is a plus; training will be provided for the right candidate. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele. Familiarity with food handling practices is beneficial. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
