Job description Your job as a Shavista (Shave Ice Barista) entails making shave ice, cashiering, and delivering heartfelt customer service. This position will be a blend of hospitality and operations. By providing a memorable experience through our shave ice and Alohatude™ (the Spirit of Aloha with Gratitude), each guest is compelled to return. Aside from taking orders, processing payments, and making shave ice, you'll often be responsible for making sure the front of the house is clean and orderly, through restocking items, preparing/refilling syrup bottles plus additional assigned duties. Our dedication to serving the best tasting shave ice on Maui is only part of the reason for our success. We also need to deliver memorable experiences. Pay:

• 20/an hour (based on experience) + tips, with potential to earn $20+ to $30+/per hour (after successful training).

Responsibilities:

• Uphold the Ululani's values through our shave ice and guest experience.
• Conduct sales/take orders, process and maintain the security and integrity of all cashless transactions and cash tips
• Shave ice and pour syrups to company standards
• Maintain the highest standards of sanitation, cleanliness, and food/product safety
• Effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
• Duties are shared on a rotational basis by taking turns in different responsibilities of the shavista

• Previous experience in a customer service environment, as well as strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills, are highly preferred
• A neat and clean appearance is always required
• Must be able to work closing shifts, weekends, holidays, and company-defined blackout periods
