Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic beverages such as coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair Operate POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently Engage with customers by providing friendly, attentive service to enhance their café experience Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling stations, beverage prep areas, and customer seating zones Handle cash transactions responsibly, ensuring accurate cash handling and processing of payments Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling pastries or light snacks when needed Follow food safety standards and proper food handling procedures to ensure quality and hygiene at all times Requirements Previous barista or café experience is highly preferred; familiarity with coffee preparation techniques is a plus Proficiency in using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for sales processing Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with guests Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction processing Ability to stand for extended periods while maintaining energy and enthusiasm throughout shifts Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a busy environment Experience in food service or retail sales transactions is desirable; previous beverage service experience is advantageous Join us to be part of a lively team dedicated to delivering exceptional coffee experiences!
