Our Baristas are responsible for accurately taking orders from guests, processing payments, and communicating orders with the kitchen, in a timely and efficient manner. Multitasking will be necessary at all times. The successful candidate will need to be able to describe menu items, including food and drink, as well as have the ability to take orders for specialty items. General daily duties include but are not limited to:

• Greet customers with a smile, take orders, mix and serve hot and cold beverages, make sandwiches and fulfill pastry orders, while considering customer specifications and needs.
• Must be friendly, professional and create a comfortable atmosphere for new and regular guests.
• Enter orders into POS software system and accept payment.
• Take specialty orders, conferring with Bakers for timing and pricing.
• Communicate orders to kitchen and deliver/package orders for customers and delivery.
• Excellent communication and writing skills are important.
• Customer Comes First attitude and connecting with the customer.
• Maintain a clean and sanitized work area, ensuring health code and safety guidelines are followed.
• Cleans coffee machines, dining, and preparation areas.
• Assists the kitchen with general cleaning when necessary
• Must be punctual with consistent attendance
• Tip Sharing included in hourly average
