Job Description

As a part-time Barista at Lightcast, you will support our Moscow, Idaho headquarters office by delivering a welcoming barista experience while helping maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked kitchens across the workplace. Working as part of the Facilities team, you will prepare high-quality beverages, manage kitchen supplies, maintain coffee equipment, and support a positive employee experience. This on-site role is ideal for someone who enjoys a structured morning schedule, takes pride in attention to detail, and is available to work Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. \n
Major Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve espresso-based drinks and coffee beverages following established recipes and quality standards. Maintain beverage quality by cleaning and calibrating coffee equipment and following food safety and hygiene practices. Keep office kitchens, appliances, and coffee equipment clean, organized, and fully stocked. Manage kitchen inventory by ordering, stocking, and tracking supplies. Coordinate routine maintenance and service for espresso and grinder equipment. Support the Facilities team with light operational tasks, including receiving supplies, trash removal, and spill cleanup.
Education & Experience:
At least 1 year of experience in a barista, retail, customer-facing, or food and beverage role preferred. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Familiarity with espresso equipment, coffee brewing methods, and beverage preparation. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and customer service skills when interacting with employees, visitors, and vendors.
