Duties Lead and motivate the barista team during your shift, fostering a positive and energetic work environment Oversee food and beverage preparation, ensuring quality standards are met for non-alcoholic drinks, coffee, and specialty beverages Manage retail sales transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, including cash handling and processing cash transactions Ensure adherence to food safety and food handling protocols, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation throughout the workspace Assist customers with their orders, providing excellent customer service and beverage service that exceeds expectations Monitor inventory levels of supplies and ingredients, placing orders as needed to prevent shortages Support training new team members on food preparation, POS operation, cleaning procedures, and customer service standards Requirements Proven experience as a barista with strong knowledge of coffee preparation and beverage service techniques Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a food service or retail environment preferred Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable Strong skills in retail math, cash handling, and processing cash transactions accurately Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Basic math skills for balancing registers and inventory management Experience with cleaning routines to uphold hygiene standards in food preparation areas This role is perfect for motivated individuals passionate about coffee, customer service, and leading teams.
