We believe every cup should feel like it was made just for you — every shift is a chance to brighten someone's morning. We serve espresso, drip coffee, matcha, chai, and hot chocolate alongside fresh pastries and cold bottled drinks. Beyond our daily hours, we also host private and community events after close. We're building our founding team now and looking for baristas who care about doing the craft well and want to grow with us from day one. Responsibilities Prepare espresso drinks, drip coffee, matcha lattes, chai, and hot chocolate to a consistent standard Operate and help maintain the espresso machine, grinders, and brewing equipment Run the register and handle cash and card transactions Keep the bar, counter, and customer area clean and organized throughout each shift Assist with pastry and bottled beverage service Support smooth handoff of drinks headed upstairs to the restaurant when needed Deliver friendly, attentive customer service during every interaction Help with setup, service, or breakdown for after-hours private/community events as needed Qualifications Previous barista or customer service experience preferred but not required Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to learn quickly and build relationships with regulars and teammates alike Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Friendly, positive attitude and team-oriented mindset Ability to stand for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodation Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation Available to work flexible hours, including early mornings and weekends Morning availability required, including weekends Food handler certification required (or willingness to obtain before start date — we can help point you to a course) Schedule This location operates 7 days a week; weekend availability is required Occasional evening shifts available for after-hours events, for those interested in additional hours Compensation Hourly wage + tips (tip pool) Hands-on training on quality equipment Aprons and uniform provided at no cost to you Opportunity for growth as the team and business expand
