Applicant needs to be available to work on the weekends

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, latte and other espresso based coffee drinks, tea, and specialty drinks
• Take customer orders and provide exceptional customer service
• Operate espresso machines and other equipment to make quality beverages
• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas
• Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash register records
• Maintain inventory of supplies and restock as needed
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Assist with food preparation and other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in sales, food service, or a coffee shop is required. Experience making espresso-based drinks and operating an espresso machine is also required.
• Knowledge of retail math for cash handling and transactions
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and practices
• Experience with square POS or similar point-of-sale systems is required
• Ability to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
• Basic knowledge of food handling procedures
